Future Items
MasterGene® Products.

Here at RevGenetics we are getting ready to offer our best products under a label called MasterGene® Products. The products will simply have our best ingredients and help promote or activate a particular master gene, that we have found to be essential for longevity.

Many folks who have ordered our Nitro250, or Astral Fruit-C have already noticed this change in the label. For folks wondering what products will be included here is our small list:

1-  Nitro250 - 250mg Micronized Resveratrol Capsules using Tween 80 and Licaps.
2-  Astral Fruit-C - Cycloastragenol capsules and Chitosan.
3-  MasterGene P16 - Cellular cleanse. (To be used only with micronized resveratrol)

We have been asked many times, what is our best product. We hope this label change will help provide this answer for our current and future products.

Thank you
Anthony Loera - President RevGenetics

Twitter?
For Folks That Just Can't Wait.
What is Twitter? Twitter is simply a service you can 'subscribe' to if you have a Twitter account or can simply check daily if you do not have a Twitter account (by clicking on the link below). I think of it as a simplified information channel.

You can follow our resveratrol news channel by going to this link here: http://twitter.com/RevGenetics or by following us on Twitter if you already have an account.

We use Twitter when we find a new study during the month that is interesting, or when we want to comment on RevGenetics website or it's products. Typically we post 3-5 times a week. If you want to be on top of any Resveratrol news on a daily basis, then just may be it's a perfect addition to your current line up of informational sources.

Now For The News We Really Care About..

Telomere News
A link on a Jewish centenarian study found in November

In November we an interesting study regarding Telomeres.

Jewish centenarians and their offspring where found to have and maintain longer telomeres compared with controls. It shows that variations in human telomerase gene are associated with better maintenance of telomere length may confer healthy aging and exceptional longevity in humans (link).

At this time UCLA's study using Cycloastragenol appears to be one of a few studies showing telomerase activation by an herbal source in human blood cells. I believe we will see more studies like this one from Spain (link) in the near future using gene manipulation in mice.

Resveratrol News
Some links on interesting November studies

This last month we saw more studies using Resveratrol. It continues to be a strong candidate for animal and lab studies around the world.

The latest study comes from folks in Japan, they state that resveratrol can be considered as a potential candidate against various H. pylori related gastric pathogenic processes (link). Another study shows Curcumin and Resveratrol are potent agents for modulating osteoarthritis inflammation (link). Yet another study from Germany shows that a rat treated for 7 days using 20mg/kg or resveratrol, provided a protective effect against lipopolysaccharide-induced oxidative stress in rat brain (link). From Brazil we find a study that shows that resveratrol can provide protection from DNA damage to cryopresereved semen to preserve it's integrity (link).

We have heard quite a bit about the positive resveratrol and SIRT1 studies, however there is also a study regarding Zinc ions (that in excessive amounts) can strongly inhibit SIRT1. The study states that SIRT1 activity suppressed by the exogenous Zn(2+) can be fully recovered by the metal chelator EDTA but not by the activator resveratrol (link). Although Zinc is essential in brain function, excessive Zinc released in the body has been linked to brain injury and death after cardiac arrest or other trauma (link) & (link).

In positive study, Resveratrol and Curcumin combination shows a 4 fold increase in anti oxidant activity over a curcumin and quercetin combination (link). While from Korea, a study shows resveratrol prevents cardiac hypertrophy and contractile dysfunction without lowering blood pressure (link). Last but not least, from South Caroline a study shows resveratrol may protect against colitis through up-regulation of SIRT1 in immune cells in the colon (link).
Although the studies are far from complete for humans, they may help determine new treatments for a variety of these issues sometime in the future. As always, none of our supplements should be considered to help diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease. We are just presenting this information for your consideration*.

This Month's Customer Question:
I just read the article on the mice that had extra P53 genes, P16 genes, and Telomerase genes. When will your MasterGene P16 product be out and how do I take it with your other products?

Answer: First of all, we don't expect our product to act in the same way that gene manipulation did with mice in the article (link), we are simply a supplement company producing new products to help maintain a person's genes in a healthy state.

Our MasterGene P16 cellular cleanse will be out soon. We hope it maybe available in late December. This product is simply not for everyone. The plant extract used is a direct vasodilator, as reported in a study about it. Because of this we will suggest taking no more than 1 capsule a day, unless your doctor says otherwise. The product is strongly suggested to be taken only with micronized resveratrol or our Nitro250 capsules.

Because we are taking a new look at master genes with the addition of this product, we will suggest the following schedule for this cellular cleanse product:

Week 1: would consist of taking this product only the first 3 days with micronized resveratrol and MCT Quercetin, after which you would simply take resveratrol and quercetin daily for the remainder of the week.

Week 2: would consist of taking Astral Fruit-C during the week along with your multivitamins, and avoid telomerase inhibitors.

You would simply repeat this schedule as needed after "Week 2" is over. Again, this product is not for everyone, but expect it to be very helpful for folks that do consider activating the MaterGenes P16 and P53 important for natural longevity.

Wishing you good health for you and your loved ones.r>
