Two months ago we ran a
commentary about Oprah, and how FWM Labs was violating the trust on
consumers, and using trademarks to sell 'free resveratrol'.
I am pleased to see Dr.
Sinclair joining the fight, and sending a cease and desist letter to FWM as
well. I am also happy to see that he may join a non-profit group that may
perform research into healthy aging.

We are looking forward
to the results for the latest NIH study we will be providing material for.
Some companies state that they supply resveratrol to universities and governments for the purposes of

Resveratrol News Some links on interesting
studies
This last month we had a couple more studies regarding Resveratrol. It
continues to be a strong candidate for animal studies around the world. The
latest study comes from folks in Taiwan that have fed resveratrol to mice
and challenged with cancerous CT26 cells. In two different challenges mice
on resveratrol survived over 50% of the time compared to controls (link).
The study is interesting as researchers continue to find resveratrol to help
mice against
particular cancers. At the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, researchers
research a synergism effect that Curcumin has with resveratrol on colon
cancer HCT-116 cells that have been xenographed. This study study has shown
us to seriously think about Curcumin as well (link).
Again, the animal findings may help provide new therapies or drugs in the
future for this disease.
Although the studies are far from complete for humans, they may help
determine new treatments for a variety of these issues sometime in the
future. As always, none of our supplements should be considered to help
